The debut solo album by SigneLine Lundstrom alias Bumble B. (of The Smell of Incense) presents a collection of traditional folk songs from Norway. On some of the tracks SigneLine (all vocals, viola and violin, Spanish ceramic flute, Tibetan and Indian bells) is joined by fellow musicians Egil Odegard (guitars), Robert Menne (flute) and Lumpy Davy (keyboards, organ, sitar). On " Varulv" she is backed by The Smell of Incense. Drawing her inspiration from 70's folk artists such as Maddy Prior (Steeleye Span) or the Norwegian folk rock band Folque, SigneLine takes a direct approach to the melancholic tunes and renders them in a straight, yet magical style. Vinyl only, limited edition of 400 copies. Comes in nice paste-on sleeve.
