The Foole, aka Dan Ireton, has finally come out and ended a near decade of silence with this spiraling crest of the so-called avant-folk expression, originally a limited 2004 CD-R. In collaboration with Matt Valentine and Erika Elder (MV&EE/Bummer Road and Tower Recordings), Dredd Foole bounds between Tim Buckley-esque bellow and a hyper-extended take on the song form, alongside environmental treatments (harmonica, synthesizer, percussion) and his own acoustic guitar work.
