Nearly 80 min. (recorded 1973-79) collection of his personal vision of an avant-hillbilly American ethnic music cast out of the mixed up mold of Indian classical, bluegrass, blues and psychedelia. Henry Flynt is known as philosopher, student of Pran Nath, four time sit-in with the Velvet Underground, author of "Blueprint for a higher civilization" and critic against Stockhausen and the cultural domination of European art. A sudden turn into a 20 min. piece of oscillating vibrato guitar churns documents that this has as much to do with classic rock jams as it does with the minimalism of New York drone luminary La Monte Young.
