Bluegrass group featuring future Byrd Chris Hillman, country musicians Vern and Rex Gosdin, and banjoist Don Parmley. Recorded in 1963-'64, this displays their takes on Bob Dylan, Pete Seeger, Woody Guthrie and Maybelle Carter, alongside several original songs by the Gosdin Brothers. Enhanced with 6 bonus tracks. Mixed from the original 3-track tapes in 1970 by engineer Dave Hassinger (Rolling Stones, Jefferson Airplan).
