Ishaaq from Norrköping mixes Indian tones from various traditions with Western folk and popular music. Raga-based compositions, tabla and strings take up more space than before. Swedish and Indian musicians such as Daniel Bingert and Suranjana Ghosh make the music both swinging and difficult to categorize. Comes on plant-based non-plastic vinyl. Looks weird, but plays fine.
