31 FLAVORS
Hair
OUT-SIDER
In the late '60s, a bunch of mysterious psychedelic exploitation albums were released by America's budget Crown label. Issued under different band names (The Firebirds, Underground Electrics, 31 Flavors), these LP's were recorded by an anonymous group of studio musicians. 'Hair' by 31 Flavors is the counterpart to The Firebirds' LP 'Light My Fire'. Along with demented raw garage covers of 'Hair' and 'Aquarius', it contains fuzzed out exploitation sounds, reminiscent of Blue Cheer, Hendrix and Sabbath.

DESTIJL US
The Hannover, Germany psych duo of Christian Henjes and Juergen Gleue (formed in 1976). Inspired by protest in the broadest and most romantic sense theirs was a sound attuned to classic American garage-psych/Nuggets. This collection was put together intending to display the general 39 Clocks vibe, but also some of their more curious wrinkles.
